LRAD (Long Range Audio Device) Radar

Radar controlled LRAD for bird dispersal at wind farms. The system consists of a fully automatic system with radar, LRAD and control system. The system can be connected to a central control room where you also can perform manual operations in the event of unforeseen events. The LRAD have a range of 3000 m 360 degree rotation and the radar have two options with 8000 and 12000 meter. The radar can control an arbitrary number number of LRAD units.

RADAR RANGE

Below example from Smøla Wind Park is ringed into the inner circle and the outer circle shows the range of radar that is 6 km in radius, all birds with the size of 21 cm will be detected.
